Meet Studio Center Entertainment’s Dynamic Duo!

Studio Center Entertainment (“SCE”) is the Unscripted Television Division of Studio Center.

SCE develops and produces original non-fiction television and online content, has hundreds of projects in various stages of development and recently sold a pilot to HGTV.


Katlyn Wilson (formerly Katlyn Higgins) is Studio Center Entertainment’s Director of Development.

Prior to Studio Center, Katlyn served as Associate Producer and Development Specialist of the flagship Discovery Channel US, where, during her tenure, she developed and produced series including Shark After Dark, Devil’s Canyon, Moonshiners, and most recently Finding Escobar’s Millions. Wilson also briefly served on the Food Network development & programming team contributing to the test pilot, The Kitchen, and legacy series Iron Chef America.

In her current role, Wilson oversees all aspects of Studio Center Entertainment’s non-fiction development slate from inception to production execution, shepherding projects as they make their way to networks, digital platforms, and beyond. Wilson is based out of Studio Center’s New York City offices but travels the globe with her team developing new television series.



Shannon Leyko is SCE’s Assistant Director of Development

Shannon Leyko has been with the team since 2016 and is based in Studio Center’s Virginia Beach headquarters. A former Miss New York and professional vocalist, Shannon’s knack at finding new talent for the unscripted division comes from her own experience in front of the camera. She is a Christopher Newport University alumnae, holding a degree in psychology with a communications minor. Her trusty assistant is Noma the puppy – who has a nose for talent.
