Full-Time Front End/Backend Web Developer

Studio Center, one of the busiest content creation studios in the country, is looking for an experienced Front End/Backend Website Developer who is quick on his/her feet and ready to work in a fast paced, creative environment. Our Digital Division is responsible for web design and development, internet marketing, mobile websites, e-commerce, email marketing and collateral design.

We offer a competitive salary PLUS commission on every completed website.

Interested candidates should is able to code CSS, HTML5, JavaScript, Ajax, PHP, MySQL (and variants) and Linux, responsive design and any other current coding languages inside and out; server management via Plesk web panel and shell; implement name server and DNS changes; troubleshoot email transport problems; implement SEO best practices; write clean markup and avoid unnecessary tags; provide as close as possible output between browsers from MSIE 10 and up, Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. Candidates should have knowledge of Content Management Systems like Concrete5, Drupal, Joomla, WordPress and Magento is essential.

Copywriter

Join the growing creative department in Studio Center – one of the busiest content creation studios in the country! We’re looking for a strong conceptual writer. A writer that can write a TV commercial, a social post, a capabilities presentation and a radio campaign all in one day (just kidding, sort of) You must also want to work in a fun, fast-paced environment with dogs, babies and chocolate chip cookies.

Copywriter will:
- Contribute and produce big campaign ideas in all mediums from TV to radio to digital
- Create campaigns with a broad view of strategy, consumer engagement and compelling messaging that can thread through the majority of assets
- Help create a consistent visual and verbal landscape, always with an eye on what’s next
- Follow through. Once concepting work is complete, manage campaign through to detailed writing, revising, proofing, etc.
- Be proactive and work on a range of projects

Copywriter must:
- Have 5+ years of copywriting experience in an ad agency environment
- Have experience writing scripts for long and short form video
- Have the ability to grasp brand voice, with experience presenting and pitching
- Have strong concepting skills and be a self-starter!
- Have ability to manage multiple projects with crazy deadlines
- Working collaboratively across teams
- Strong understanding of the social/digital space
- Quick learner who works well with others on a team

Government Sales Manager

Job Type: Full-Time Salaried Position Plus Commission
Location: DC, Richmond or Virginia Beach

Studio Center, one of the busiest and most respected content creation studios in the country, is actively seeking an experienced and highly motivated Government Sales Manager to develop new GSA/Federal Government business across the United States.

As Studio Center’s Government Sales Manager, you will research and manage all government bids, solicitations, un-solicited proposals and quotations for federal, state, and local government.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Research, lead identification, bid organization and management of the bid process and contract administration 
  • Develop DEEP relationships with government acquisition personnel and buyers
  • Creation and maintenance of proposal and contract documents relative to government/GSA schedule, projects, and contracts; to include preparation of responses to solicitations in the form of proposals and quotations
  • Management of the government business opportunity pipeline and tracking the status of proposal development with internal teams to ensure submittal deadlines are met
  • WIN!

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years direct experiences with government contracting
  • Existing relationships in the Government arena, as well as a strong track record of new business development
  • Understanding of government and GSA contracting including account structures, procurement processes, RFPs, and standard bid requests
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently 
  • Military Experience and Relationships a HUGE Plus
