Acquisition of Santa Monica Studios

Virginia Beach, VA — August 25th, 2010 — Studio Center announces the acquisition of Santa Monica sound studio “The Mix”. Studio Center / LA, formerly “The Mix”, is a boutique audio and video Post Studio located in the center of Santa Monica’s editorial and film community. “The Mix” created in 2008 was a new studio born of the original “Latte Mix”.

Studio Center / LA will continue to be a multi-cultural and multi-functional production facility with a diverse foreign talent roster and full Post Production Capabilities including 5.1 Mixes, Sweetening, Sound Design, Final Cut Editing, Voice Overs and Music Composition. Studio Center/LA will now also offer FREE Voice and On Camera Casting, Unlimited FREE Auditions, and thousands of Non Union and Union Voices. Studio Center / LA has 4 Pro Tools audio rooms, Final Cut Pro editing bays and is equipped with 5 ISDN units and is Source Connect compatible.

Some recent work includes: the series “True Crime” with Aphrodite Jones, “The Jonas Brothers Project” for Disney, “Camp Rock Two”, and the mixing for the Academy Award winning “Logorama” – for Best Animated Short.
