OLD DOMINION UNIVERSITY PROJECTS
Degree Progams • Sport Management • Park & Rec Management • Tourism Hospitality
GOAL / IDEATION
The goal of this project was student recruitment for specific degree programs, Sport Management, Park & Rec Management, and Tourism Hospitality Management . For authenticity and relatability, we wanted to highlight the diverse career opportunities the program offers and show real students doing hands-on work. We filmed interviews with students and alumni to serve as authentic first person references for the program. We wanted to connect the degree program to the careers in the field of sport management.
PROJECT DETAILS
Inspired by student stories, their own words became the script. The creative team crafted tailored interview questions and chose unique locations that represented each students’ fields of interest or the alum’s work environment. We started a list of points to hit and created mood boards to guide the visual aesthetic and graphic treatments.
We produced multiple versions of longform videos for each of the select degree programs with :30 and :15 cutdowns for each longform video so they could use the content on multiple platforms.
ADDITIONAL VIDEOS
Videos were delivered for use as ads on broadcast and streaming tv and digital platforms. Select Videos were played on jumbo screens at the outdoor stadium during football and in the arena for basketball games.
