When reading a script, you want your voiceover to sound as natural as possible and have it really resonate with the energy and emotion that the client wants. To do this, I carefully read the entire script a few times including the notes that let you know what kind of tone and emotion the reading needs. Then, I underline the words that I believe need to be emphasized to better convey the message and feeling of the script. For example, words like love and excited, and phrases like “don’t miss out”.
