Be mindful of your surroundings. Makes sure there is nothing around you that is distracting. If you are
holding a pen or pencil for notes, make sure to either place it down before recording or at least be
mindful of your space between any stands or other objects around you. You want to make sure that you
don’t accidentally hit or tap anything. That goes the same if your someone who often speaks with their
hands or is doing a session that is high energy and maybe you want to get more physically animated to
really get into the emotion. All of this is fine. Just make sure when you are setting up the space with
your sound engineer, that you are taking that into consideration, so you don’t end up too far from the
mic or again, accidentally crashing into something.
