I have began editing some in ProTools under Ryan's supervision. I am starting to get the hang of the basic editing tools and my own rhythm for editing. Ryan has taught me exactly what sounds to cut out and the best way to make a voice over sound natural and professional. I also assisted Ryan in running an audition the other day. I was in charge of running ProTools, turning on and off the microphone, informing the audition-er when to begin, and recording, while Ryan worked on the script and giving general direction to both me and the talent so that the recording session ran smoothly. I am feeling more comfortable with working in ProTools and also interacting and leading recording sessions.
